Pink Dragonfly : REDESIGNING HOMES

Resettlement agencies work hard to find suitable housing for newly arrived refugee families.  Unfortunately, due to limited funding, many are placed in low income neighborhoods that face challenges such as poverty, high crime rates, and inadequate schooling systems.  In addition, these apartments are usually furnished with second hand items that may be mismatched and not in the best condition.   Using money we fundraised, our volunteers were able to redesign these apartments to provide a cozy and comfortable space.
